“The right people, the right base”

25 years ago, Robert Petrović started as a page in the hotel business. Since then, he has worked on four continents, contributed to opening of numerous hotels and has been working for The Ritz-Carlton luxury hotel chain for well over ten years. In 2009 he was made General Manager at the prestigious The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin at Potsdamer Platz.

We met with him here to talk about his two decades of experience in the hotel business, his role as mentor with the METRO Accelerator powered by Techstars and the opportunities presented by digitalization in the hotel industry. He told us of the role his own mentor played in his career and why it’s so important that everything you do, you do with complete commitment and passion.
