MXcel and LeadX are excited to announce the official launch of our “How to Survive & Thrive in a Downturn” program!
The program kicked off with a virtual dinner on Tuesday, where food was delivered to participants doors from our startup MYMY Catering. Startups joined from around the world including; USA, UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Israel, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
In the course of the evening, we heard from METRO's CEO, Olaf Koch:
"Times like these are never easy but they also very rich when it comes to new opportunities."
Which highlights the spirit and intent of our program perfectly, with it we hope to provide a viable guidance and support system for our startup ecosystem, by enabling powerful exchange between founders, providing curated content, and incremental business opportunities.
The virtual program will run over the course of 4 weeks, and kicked off Tuesday, 12th May. Every week covers a theme through 2 group webinar sessions, each being between 20-30 minutes. All of our webinars will be uploaded on our youtube channel.
The following topics will be covered over the four weeks: "Leadership & HR", "Sales & Negotiation", "Finance", "Funding & Legal". The facilitators of the sessions will spend time talking about current challenges companies are experiencing within their field of expertise, and how to cope with these challenges. The content covers all questions that come with navigating through a crisis.
Our favourite quote at the moment is from Winston Churchill: “Don’t let a good crisis go to waste” We are choosing to focus on the positive we can draw from this current global crisis, rather than let the negatives hold us back. This is our chance to shape the future – and we can’t wait for what’s to come!
