tsenso tests their solution in METRO CC in Dussledorf
While our retail demo day in Minnesota was running, we joined the Food+Tech Meetup in New York City to find out about the latest tech innovations in hospitality. Three start-ups presented their innovative business models and breakthrough technologies. Here is a short recap on “What’s next in Restaurant Tech”:
Zuul,a cloud kitchen-provider, is offering a solution to restaurants that run out of kitchen space due to the booming online-delivery market. The company advertises flexible rental space for restaurant brands and ghost kitchens to expand fast and cost-efficient into new markets.
Harri is an end-to-end software platform that connects hospitality businesses with jobseekers. Beyond the typical recruitment platform, Harri offers an entire workforce solution to restaurant and hotels supporting the HR-cycle from talent acquisition, applicant tracking, scheduling, time & attendance, communications, compliance, employer branding to analytics. Harri claims that with their software the HR-cycle from recruiting to onboarding can be as short as 7 days for restaurants.
Hungry fills the gap for online-delivery on a larger scale. It is a food-tech platform that connects independent chefs with corporations. This enables companies to order breakfast and lunch for their employees fast and easy online, by selecting from a broad portfolio of chefs and their special menus, while Hungry manages the delivery and catering set up for their corporate clients.
This meet up was part of kicking off a recruitment tour for our METRO Xcel for hospitality program that acts as a catalyst for companies looking to scale across borders, nationwide or into the hospitality industry. Applications are officially open.
